We recommend that certain populations take an HIV test every three months. These priority populations include:

  • People who inject drugs (PWID)
  • Sexual partners of people living with HIV/AIDS (P/PLWHA)
  • Sexual partners of PWID

Learn your HIV risk by using the CDC’s Risk Estimator.

On-Demand Testing

HIV Alliance is committed to providing culturally responsive, low barrier services. If you are unable to visit our office for a walk-in appointment during our normally scheduled testing times, please feel free to contact us to schedule an HIV test that fits your schedule by calling 541-342-5088 or via email at prevention@allianceor.org.

Hepatitis C (HCV) Testing

HIV Alliance offers FREE and confidential rapid testing for HCV. Results are provided in 20 minutes. This means that we administer a quick finger prick blood test with quick and accurate results.

We recommend that certain populations test for HCV every 6 weeks. Our priority populations include:

  • People who inject drugs (PWID)
  • People who had tattoos or body piercings in an unclean environment using unsterile equipment
  • People who worked in a place where you came in contact with infected blood or needles, for example, healthcare workers
  • People who have received a blood transfusion or organ transplant before July 1992
  • People with HIV or other STIs
  • People who live with or are partners of people with HCV
  • People born between 1945 – 1965

See the right side of this page for regular testing schedules and locations. For information on special testing events, please visit our events calendar.
