Harm Reduction Coalition of Lane County
The Harm Reduction Coalition (HRC) of Lane County is a community coalition that aims to promote connection around harm reduction and services for the people of Lane County. Monthly meetings include presentations on current programs, policies, and topics. All members are welcome to propose a presentation. We meet virtually with occasionally in-person lunch hour meetings. Lane County Public Health and HIV Alliance coordinate the coalition’s meetings, community announcements, and leadership.
Membership includes engagement with many different agencies and discussions on broad perspectives surrounding harm reduction. This includes current community needs, housing and shelter, mental and physical health, overdose risk and prevention, STIs, and basic needs resources across Lane County. We are always looking for more agencies to join our meetings, inspire collaboration, and bring new ideas to the table on how we can better assist our community about harm reduction and the many issues that surround it.
