We have a variety of volunteer opportunities in Washington, Lane, Marion, Coos, Josephine, Jackson, Curry, and Douglas counties. Each county has its own specific needs and opportunities. Please fill out the volunteer application, and we will reach out to you about the next orientation training. Below is a general description of the type of volunteer opportunities we offer.

Oportunidades de voluntariado
Prevención
Assembly of safer injection, wound care, and Naloxone and safer sex kits that are handed out to our community members. Kit assembly is a high demand and low barrier volunteer opportunity that volunteers can choose to do at home. We also have opportunities in reducción de daños which include intercambio de jeringas, pruebas, Naloxone distribution, Naloxone training, as well as opportunities with our community education program.

Patio volunteers work from our Eugene office, providing clients with food, clothing, shelter supplies, and connecting clients to housing and treatment programs when needed. Other opportunities include supporting our medical assistants and assisting with our BIPOC and POZ meals.

Support our fundraising efforts like Big Night and World AIDS Day as well as our events like Pride and Asian Celebration. Tasks may include event planning, marketing, community relations, administrative support, and tabling.
Operations
Reception desk volunteers welcome clients and guests, connecting them with the appropriate staff personnel. Other opportunities include data entry for our programs, office maintenance, building furniture, and other miscellaneous needs.
Pasantías
We offer a variety of internship opportunities with our prevention department, IT department, operations, as well as development and public relations. Internships are offered during the fall, winter, spring, and summer. Our offices have varying needs and capacity for internships.
