Board of Directors
Jayden Ruff
Secretary of the Board
Jayden is a passionate advocate for context and a challenger of systems and the status quo. For the past seven years, she has championed equitable access to healthcare, food justice, and community-centered events that celebrate joy and resilience across Oregon, working closely with 2SLGBTQIA+ and Communities of Color. As a Community Strategist, her advocacy is deeply rooted in social justice movements. She often shares the Maya Angelou quote, “I come as one but stand as 10,000,” which, for her, reflects a profound accountability to her community, co-creators, collaborators, fellow advocates, and ancestors.
Jayden currently serves as Chair of the Coos-Curry Housing Authority, Vice Chair of the HIV Alliance, and is an alum and advisor of DELTA (Developing Equity Leadership through Training and Action) at the Oregon Health Authority. She also sits on the Oregon Foodbank Policy Leadership Council and is the founder of the BEET Food System.
