Actualmente se desempe\u00f1a como epidemi\u00f3loga regional para los condados de Coos, Douglas y Josephine y supervisora del programa de enfermedades transmisibles de Douglas Public Health Network. A Laura le apasiona promover la equidad en la salud y la justicia social en su comunidad. Antes de mudarse a Oreg\u00f3n,<\/p>\n<p>Laura served as a Peace Corps Health Volunteer in the Gambia, West Africa from 2015-2017. Her work during that time focused on malaria and pediatric malnutrition prevention and treatment. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Master\u2019s degree in Public Health from Tulane University\u2019s School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine in New Orleans.
