We have a variety of medical volunteer opportunities in Washington, Lane, Marion, Coos, Josephine, Jackson, Curry, and Douglas counties. Each county has its own specific needs and opportunities. Please fill out the volunteer application and we will reach out to you about the next orientation training. Below is a general description of the type of volunteer opportunities we offer.<\/p>\n

Volunteer Opportunities<\/h2>\n

Prevention<\/h3>\n

Assembly of safer injection, fentanyl, wound care, Naloxone and safer sex kits that are handed out to our community members. Kit building is a high demand and low barrier volunteer activity that volunteers can choose to do at home. We also have opportunities in harm reduction<\/a>, which include needle exchange, testing, Naloxone distribution and Naloxone training across all counties we serve.<\/p>\n

Development<\/h3>\n

Support our events including Big Night, World AIDS Day, and Pride. Tasks may include event planning, marketing, and tabling events.<\/p>\n
