HIV Testing Information
HIV Alliance offers free, anonymous and confidential OraQuick Rapid Tests (results in 20 minutes). We are currently able test people in populations with a high prevalence of HIV. We recommend that high-risk populations test for HIV every 3-6 months.
High-risk populations include:
-
People who are gay and bisexual men;
-
Men who have sex with men (MSM) and their sexual partners;
-
People who inject drugs (PWID) and their sexual partners;
-
Transgender people;
-
People who exchange sex for drugs, money, shelter or something else of value; and
-
Sexual partners of people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWH/A).
If you do not qualify for a test with us, you are welcome to speak with a counselor about how to reduce your risk and where you can go for testing.
Although our services are free, we have a suggested donation of $25 for HIV testing
