HIV Alliance is in need of a Board Treasurer with an understanding of financial accounting for nonprofit organizations. Our current budget is $3.5 million and we are steadily growing. The Board Treasurer is responsible for working with the Finance Director and Executive Directors to: monitor funds, investments, tax filings, and quarterly review of compliance; develop and recommend fiscal policies to ensure financial integrity and sustainability of organization; develop long-term financial strategies through goal setting and business planning; assist in reviewing and presenting financial reports and annual budget to Board.
The Board Treasurer serves as Chair of the Finance Committee, a Director, and member of the Executive Committee. The Board meets monthly on the fourth Thursday from 5:30-7:00pm. Executive and Finance committees meet on the second Thursday of each month from 2:45-5:30pm. Meetings are held in Eugene. May conference call from outside counties.
